I fell in love with the Edgewater the minute I saw it and I told the guys right away that I will be staying in that cabin next year. I told them that they could stay where ever they want, but I will be staying in cabin 2 @ Glenmore. They laughed.

Having grown up in Michigan and now living in California, I was missing a "north woods" experience. I found the Glenmore Resort on the Internet and it was everything the site said it would be.

The cabin was very clean, had a woodstove with plenty of firewood, the kitchen was fully equiped, and the property was quiet. Our porch had tall, thin trees in front of it through which we could see the lake. The common area along the lake provided a grassy area, a fire pit for taking the chill off on a cool evening, as well as a large dock with chairs for enjoying the sunsets.

Motor boats and canoes were readily available. The town of Tower was close enough to obtain needed items or groceries. The Soudan Mines made for an educational experience.

Just wanted to say that we enjoyed your cabins and the friendly service...thanks. Leaving my trailer parked in your driveway was very much appreciated.
